The new INTO SCHOOL Ruoholahti opens its doors in January 2027!
INTO SCHOOL Ruoholahti is a new bilingual preschool in the heart of Helsinki, right next to Ruoholahti and Jätkäsaari. Here, children can grow, play, explore and learn in a safe, inspiring environment in both Finnish and English.
Our new preschool brings together the warm INTO SCHOOL community, the strengths of Finnish early childhood education and an international perspective on learning.

INTO SCHOOL Ruoholahti is a preschool where every day is filled with discovery, joy and learning together. We are proud of our unique bilingual approach, which gives children space to express themselves, explore their ideas and learn in their own ways.
At INTO SCHOOL, we want to give children the freedom to wonder, experiment, ask questions and find their own ways to express themselves. We believe it is important that every child is seen, heard and valued for who they are. We nurture creativity, curiosity, courage and collaboration while creating a safe and supportive environment where children can grow and learn.
Our goal is to offer children not only a high-quality and inspiring environment for learning and development, but also a warm community where children and adults feel comfortable, connected and happy to be together.
INTO SCHOOL Ruoholahti is located at Itämerenkatu 16, between Ruoholahti and Jätkäsaari. Our urban location gives children plenty of opportunities to explore and discover the world around them. The sea, parks, streets and surrounding urban nature bring new perspectives, experiences and little adventures into everyday life.
At INTO SCHOOL, learning does not stop at the preschool door. The surrounding city is part of children's everyday life, play and learning. Ruoholahti is an international and multicultural neighbourhood where different languages, people and cultures naturally come together.
We want every child at INTO SCHOOL to feel free to be themselves, and every family to feel genuinely welcome as part of our community.
Fees
INTO SCHOOL Ruoholahti
Children under 3 years old: 0 - 530 €/month
Over 3 years old: 0 - 470 €/month
NOTE! If your family is eligible for care supplement from the City of Helsinki, the price will be reduced, and in some cases the full cost for the family taking into account all subsidies and discounts could be as low as 0 € per month.

We offer a discount of 60 €/month for part-time daycare. Sibling discount is 150 €/month starting from the second sibling. All 5-year-olds are entitled to a discount of 60 €/month by the City of Helsinki.

The early childhood education fee is billed once a month and it is to be paid 12 times per year. The year of activity of our daycare begins in August and ends in June. Our daycare is closed during July.
