Everyday life at INTO SCHOOL

INTO SCHOOL equals music. The concept of INTO SCHOOL was born from our belief that everybody can create music, and from our desire to demonstrate how it can be done. Music is a source of joy, the impetus to sing, dance, move. For us, it is also an important tool, the beating heart of our pedagogical approach.

Our music groups are woven into everyday life at INTO SCHOOL, introducing children to all aspects and forms of music: enjoying, understanding, and creating it as well as the familiarization of the diversity of tools and approaches for creating it.

In addition to music, STEAMS education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, Sports) is an essential component of our pedagogical approach, where science, art, technology and exercise all combine and complement each another.

All children are encouraged to express themselves in their own primary language. Teaching is conducted in English and Finnish by native-speaking teachers and caregivers.

A personalized early childhood education plan is devised for every child, agreed through close consultation with parents. The plan is the basis for each child’s individual learning path.

We strive to make the food we offer varied, tasty, healthy and environmentally responsible. Our menu is pescatarian focused and each dish is made using the best fresh, nutritious and predominantly locally sourced ingredients.

In creating our learning environment, we invest in safe, sustainable materials that support children’s learning and well-being.

Families are warmly welcome to visit before starting INTO SCHOOL. Through this process of familiarization, we seek to ensure that when they join INTO SCHOOL, each child feels that they are in safe, familiar surroundings and amongst people who care.
